BABYSONIC FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The BabySonic uses the very best technology. This technology allows you to hear baby’s heartbeat from as early as 8 weeks. The BabySonic has a clear LCD screen that shows the real-time fetal heartbeat and making it easy to monitor and check the heartbeat rate. The BabySoinc also has a number of modes that allow you to view real-time heartbeat, average heartbeat, and autocalc heartbeat giving the user alternate interactive options for confirming the truest heartbeat readout.

There are a number of Dopplers currently on the market, but we believe that in terms of quality and functionality, the BabySonic Doppler offers unbeatable value for money.

There are a number of cheaper Dopplers available that are of inferior quality. All reputable Dopplers should comply fully with European CE quality and safety standards. If looking at alternative Dopplers, for additional peace of mind it would be worth checking to see if they have achieved US FDA approval. The BabySonic has this approval and also complies fully with EU Directives, US Regulations and Applied Harmonised Standards.

Cheaper units may use inferior crystals and unreliable algorithms that affect how easy it is to initially detect the fetal heartbeat, causing unnecessary stress. Many other Dopplers don’t have an LCD screen, which can lead to audio miscalculations. BabySonic has a large crystal-clear ‘active scan’ LCD display. With the exception of one or two US Dopplers, other makes only have one automatic mode to determine baby’s heart rate, whereas BabySonic uses triple-mode authentication to guarantee the truest and most reliable reading.

BabySonic comes complete with everything you need. If you are considering another Doppler, it would be worth checking what is included. Most competitor Doppler packages do not include all the relevant accessories, or appropriate operating instructions, tips and guidelines, which can be frustrating and more expensive than at first appears.

An alternative to ultrasonic Dopplers would be ‘baby heartbeat monitors’. These tend to be cheaper than Dopplers but will deliver an all-too-often indistinct and muffled heartbeat, often causing more frustration and stress. What’s more, these can only be used from around 24 weeks, as they work in a similar way to a simple microphone.

Should you require any further information about Dopplers, please do not hesitate to contact us as we would be happy to help.
